Dororo's younger brother is a minor character in Keroro Gunso.

Character[]

Dororo's younger brother is a younger Keronian from Dororo's family mentioned a few times throughout the series, before actually making brief appearances in the show. He seems to be just a simple Keronian schoolkid.

Appearance[]

Zeroro otouto

Dororo's brother looks extremely similar to the young Zeroro. He has a yellow hat, with a red four-star shuriken identical to Dororo's, light and round blue eyes and wears a medical mask covering his mouth[1]. The signs of a immature Keronian are there too, with a tail and the large white area in his face. Physically, the only difference between him and Zeroro in his childhood is that his skin has a darker tone, closer to purple.

History[]

Dororo first mentions his brother when Keroro reveals the truth about Dororo's music box that broke when they were kids[2]. Zeroro blamed his brother for breaking the box, and even beat him up due to it. The scene was finally shown during episode 352-A. Afterwards, he blamed his mother, but, as it turns out, the one who broke it was Keroro.

In another occasion, Dororo's brother unknowingly became an obstacle to the young Zeroro, who wanted to leave his home to watch fireworks, even though he was sick and should stay in the bed, according to their mother. Dororo's younger brother went to study close to the place where Zeroro was hiding with Keroro and the others. He would inevitably have seen Zeroro and Keroro's group going through the room, but he ended up distracted by an adult Keronian magazine that Keroro threw near him[3].

His only appearance close to the present was in the short Kero 0: Depart! Assembly of Everyone!!, when he's briefly shown during the credits, apparently still looking like an immature Keronian, and standing by his mother's side.

Trivia[]

  • In the Funimation dub, it is said that Dororo sold him to space pirates due to the incident with the music box, which is untrue in the original series' setting.
