Obaba (オババ, Obaba) is a character in Keroro Gunso. The older lady on Grand Star, tends to the garden

AppearanceEdit

• Pale pink or peach colored with green eyes
• White hat that has flaps on the top that look like dog ears and curved sides, making it look like a old womans hair.
• Wears a purple scarf

  

• Symbol is a Red star that is circled
• First found wearing a straw basket and sun hat that had a red star loosly attached
• Her skin is almost the same as Giroro's, except a more lighter shade

Once Supreme Commander of the Grand Star, Obaba a Female Keronian seen tending to a Keronian garden that used Pekoponian Architecture that was laid with traps, to test Keroro and the others. Its hinted she was the one to refer the headquarters of Keron to to Voluteer the Keroro Platoon for the Pekopon Invasion. She is friends with Keroro's mother.

EtymologyEdit

Obaba's name comes from the Japanese word obaasan/ oba-chan meaning grandma or old lady.

Obaba's name also seems to be close to the name of United States President Barack Obama. His catch phrase "Yes we can" was also used in this episode.
