Tomoko Kawakami (川上 とも子,Kawakami Tomoko) was a female seiyū from Tokyo, Japan. She was the voice of Fuyuki Hinata from the show's debut in 2004 until episode 230. Since then, the role had been voiced by Houko Kuwashima. Some of her other anime roles included Lirin in Sayuki, Hikaru Shindou in Hikaru no Go, Mizusu Kamio in Air, Soi Fong in Bleach and Utena Tenjou in Revolutionary Girl Utena.
Sadly, Tomoko passed away on June 9, 2011 after a two year battle with ovarian cancer. She was 41.
